This was a display of how shutter speed was related to capture of a moving object. The weather was particularly bad this week, so I chose to use a 3d printer as a moving subject.
Landscapes are probably the most common photography subject. I chose the cascade volcanoes, as there isn't really a more typical subject in the area.
This was a fun assingment in the studio. Getting to play with lighting is always a fun activity. The candidness that comes with this happening in class also helps the flow.
Google Earth can give interesting, and otherwise impossible, vantage points. I chose to put together a series based on my favorire airports.
